As a last-ditch resort, couldn't someone (in countries where it's used) rob a veterinary clinic to acquire N?

I hope that discussing the mere possibility of this isn't ban-worthy, and for the record I have no intention of doing this myself. But if one were inclined to die immediately, and they know that N takes effect nearly immediately, but is out of the price range of many, many people... I am surprised that this doesn't happen more often.

I know bank tellers are instructed to hand over money without arguing in the event of a robbery, and I imagine the same psychology might be at play at a vet's. Walk in, hand over a note saying "I have terminal cancer and a gun. I don't want to hurt anyone. Please hand over a bottle of N.", the get out of there and down it.

I fantasized about that a few times but to me it's not worth the risk of a criminal record and possibly being prevented from fully ctb (when LE and medical personnel are alerted).

that's a huge fear of mine, and the reason I WON'T do some destructive, vengeful things I'd love to do before I CTB

Yeah I guess it's possible but you'd have to run like hell and use it straight away because they're going to be calling the cops as soon as you leave. Btw, vets have the highest suicide rate out of the professions. I think we all know why.

The ease of obtaining it through other ways rules this out.

Almost anyone except the poorest of the poor in a rich country could obtain enough money to get SN or N.
