  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Not really. What's minutes of discomfort, compared to the hell I get from daily life .

The ending could be a few ways.

1) Cash-out, die of old age, etc., then go upstairs where judgement is handed down.

You either go to heaven or are sent south.

2) Cash-out, die of old age, etc., then go upstairs where judgement is handed down.

You are deemed to have arrived too early and are shipped back to the same decaying body from which you tried to escape. (Doctors resuscitated you or gave you an antidote)

3) Cash-out, die of old age, etc., then go upstairs where judgement is handed down.

You do not go into heaven and are not sent south. Instead, you are reincarnated, forced to walk the planet in solitude, living a meager life in service to others for the rest of your days. (Note that this method removes one's ability to cash out ever again; you are forced to finish the game).

4) Cash out, die of old age, etc.

You go into the ether, cremated or buried, with no light at the end of the tunnel, no judgement. (You find out there is no higher power.)

Unfortunately I was raised catholic and have not been able to shake the idea of damnation from my mind even though I consider myself an atheist. I do not want to come back to this or any reality nor burn in hell if that is a real thing.

Same. As much as I expect nothingness I just can't get rid of the fear of hell it's always at the back of my head the "what if"
I hope next is nothingness, it is much comforting than the thought of judgement in the afterlife. I keep holding onto the hope that if there is something next that it forgives suicide and doesn't blame the ill.

I've convinced myself of what comes after, it might not be true, but it's what comforts me and I think that's what should be most important. If someone wants total nothingness, reincarnation or paradise for eternity, then that's what they should believe.

I don't ever bother debating about post-death because I don't care what science says, religious people say, atheists say, what's logical or what's not. I'm thinking about what's going to help me transition the easiest and accept dying.

I think I'm more scared of the process and SI. Hopefully, whatever I chose to do will have me out quickly enough to the point where I don't have to think or regret anything.

Sometimes I am scared of the uncertain, but I also feel peace because there won't be any more agony for me.
