Not really. I just ignore what I don't want to see on here and ignore users trying to troll and/or push political ideas. There were some old sub-Reddits that I found archives for. In fact the most popular one was called "/r/SanctionedSuicide." It got banned I believe in 2018, and then this website popped up right after that apparently. But I never saw the sub-Reddit live. It only exists on the WayBack Machine and Archive.ph now.

most of the sites/communities similar to this along with anti-natalist and total human extinction movement sites are archived now and can be viewed on The Wayback Machine

If you buy the Peaceful Pill Handbook (Exit International) you get access to their (closed) forum. But they require you to take a picture of yourself holding some sort of ID, so I haven't done that.
I believe there is also at least one Dutch organisation that offers access to a closed forum as well.
If you've got access to Usenet there is alt.suicide.holiday (ASH), but that group has ctb'd long ago.

The r/SuicideWatch subreddit is pretty active. I would say that's a close second to this site, and it's also a lot more accessible. This site is actually quite hard to find, at least on Google anyhow.
On second thought, maybe Reddit doesn't count, since you can't share any methods there. It's more of a platform for support and talking about suicidal ideation.

r/SuicideWatch is for amateurs.
By "closed" they mean it's not publicly viewable (like SaSu is). You have to be a member in order to view it.

I'm 48 and I bought the (digital) version, so it's not that strict. I was disappointed however that this version has no PDF-format and I only have access to it for 2 years. Open vs closed is already explained and joining isn't that hard. I had to provide some sort of ID for the book, so I used my driver's license with everything blurred except my name and date of birth. The book gives you access to the forum, but if you want that they need a picture of yourself holding your ID.

I imagine there'd be some foreign suicide sites in non-eng language for countries that'd have very high suicide rates. Like Japan, Korean, or maybe even Chinese/Indian.
Then again, it's a little strange that those countries would be more likely to constantly be on the lookout and crackdown on such sites, leading to them being very secretive, niche, and short lived if everyone leaves/CTB.
Als, I also imagine some private groupchats where people talk openly about suicide without always hyper-focusing on recovering, but that's less of a forum and more of a taboo groupchat.
