Pegasos uses N as well, since doctors are involved, they have to follow the new guidelines by Swiss Medical Association :(The new guideline is just a guideline and not a new law. Nothing changes at Pegasos. But Pegaos has always been different than the other VAD associations.
1. If you don´t believe me and a message from Pegasos, just contact them.Pegasos uses N as well, since doctors are involved, they have to follow the new guidelines by Swiss Medical Association :(
Like other VAD clinics, Pegasos doesn't accept people without serious illness unless they are old enough (at least 80 or up).
What do you mean by "didn't even consider me" ? Did you become a member ? Did you apply or did you just ask questions ? Did you read all informations on their website ? If you have questions regarding your application or healh condition, send me a PM.I emailed Pegasos a couple of times about my situation, they didn't even consider me.
Please read the FAQ. Nothing has changed for Pegasos. I know people who are not sick, but suffering who are going there. One of the people is in their 20s.The new guideline is just a guideline and not a new law. Nothing changes at Pegasos. But Pegaos has always been different than the other VAD associations.

You have a debilitating physical condition for which you uploaded medical records in the application, and they said they're not accepting you because of your age?Emailed Pegasus and the are not approving me I'm 30 to young
My friend was accepted, and he's in his 20s.Hi, do you mean physical suffering without diagnosis? Are they here in the forum? Thanks!
Could you please tell us what disease does he have?My friend was accepted, and he's in his 20s.
20's!! What was wrong with him to get accepted so young? You have a debilitating physical condition for which you uploaded medical records in the application, and they said they're not accepting you because of your age?

I haven't seen their medical records and they're not my business. But, I have the same condition they have (among others), and it causes severe suffering. Not sick but suffering? Do their medical records show that they are suffering?
You messed up if they are acknowledging your anxiety and depression. They won't touch those with mental illness. NEVER mention mental issues to them. You need to be of sound mind. They aren't taking risks with lawsuits.View attachment 94821
So no luck
Yeah but what should I say then that I'm a schizophrenic and then they say come over and my medical files don't show my diagnosisYou messed up if they are acknowledging your anxiety and depression. Send me a PM (no chat !) if you want.Anyone want to give me help with a pegasos application? What I should and shouldn't write? In private. I'm also in the chat room sometimes.
Did you say in your email that you're "healthy" but would like VAD? If you're in good health and just tired of living, then you wouldn't qualify. Their FAQ covers all of that.
If one has medical issues, (even if they may seem small to some) that are causing a poor quality of life, they will accept you if you have medical records with your condition(s). Anyone over 18 can apply, and I have a friend in their 20s who's been accepted.
