Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Chris Cornell used an exercise band, so should be OK.
I basically just chickened out because of survival instinct.
I'm looking at the charcoal method now.
I just hate how it's been one of the most popular forms of capital punishment throughout human history, ie clearly a reliable and efficient way to end someone's life, and yet it's seemingly so difficult to manage successfully unassisted, whether it be difficulty getting it right, or survival instinct/fear of pain kicking in. But if you have someone assisting you to do it they'd be at risk of prosecution.
I failed a full hanging at age 18 due to pain/ SI. I was inpatient and used a bed sheet. Ended up transferred to an ICU with no recollection of most of the next few days. I was told later that I bit a nurse because she wouldn't give me a cigarette (back when smoking in psych facilities was standard). Honestly, the only way I would try again is with a large dose of sedatives/opiates in my system.
The first time I tried it with a ceiling fan. It broke.
The second time I tried with a pull up bar. That also broke. Gosh darn thing can pull my weight when I'm just pulling my weight, but fails when I tried to hang myself.
Each of these times, something happened in the next few days, and I considered to not CTB. I'm not doing this anymore. I'm setting a deadline. If something doesn't happen, I leave with SN.
I don't understand why so many people are trying to hang themselves. I have tried it one time and it sucked so much. I don't recommend trying it. It puts so much pressure on your neck and head and the pain is real. Do something else instead. And it wasn't even the suffocating part that hurt. I know I didn't do it right but still.

If you can do partial it's not as painful as you just pass out from blood loss to the brain, kind of like being choked to sleep. Hanging has a high success rate according to lostalllhope, it's one of the most recommended methods.

I don't know about good but I'm realizing unless I want to be a splat on the road it's my only option. I'm too sick to get the tools together to go by gas which is how I want to go. People promise they'll pair up with me then suddenly their lives are sunshine and roses and they changed their minds or they go ahead without me. Story of my life.

And for the neck loop it should be a slip knot as i am right informed. How about the position? Knot behind the left ear should be okay? I saw this in a video.
That should be ok. I wonder if you tie the noose already very close before you kick away the chair. I can't understand how the sklip knot will close itself with the weight? Maybe I imagine it wrongly?
I'm also planning to write a note and attach it so it is visible on my chest, a note which would ask whoever finds me first to not call anyone, to not take any action for 30 minutes or so, so I can die in peace.
How should that work? I cannot understand how I make a noose then for the neck?
For the reason of knots it would be great to have drawings/pictures.
Might sound like a stupid question but I genuinly ask myself: can you be to heavy for hanging yourself?
Pressure on the neck can close the airway (trachea, or windpipe) at the front of the neck or compress the common carotid (right side) and vertebral (back of neck) arteries or jugular vein (left side), or some combination of the
above. The jugular vein is easiest to compress, followed by carotid and vertebral arteries, followed by the trachea. - Suicide and Attempted Suicide by Geo Stone

I will tie it relatively tight so as to have a better control of the position of the knot. Here's how to do the slipknot, it will help you understand how it closes. If after you look at this website you still cannot understand how it closes then do a test by making the knot, getting your arm through the loop and pulling.
Everybody talks of the carotid because it's the fastest and cleanest way to die, I think.
The blood goes TO the brain through the artery and goes AWAY from the brain through the jugular. If you apply maximum compression on the jugular instead then the brain will keep getting blood (since the artery is less compressed) but there will be no place for it to go and you will bloat and turn blue, I think. Not pretty!
I guess if you weigh more then there is better compression and faster death but you should be careful so as not to break the setup. You should always test first! Keep in mind that the rope should not be too thin or it will dig into your flesh. Painful. : (

yeah to anchor has to be strong. I m 76kg and 172cm. not super much weight, could be less though. My rope is 12mm. Polyester. Not strechable. What do you use?

I'm around 76 kg as well and 186 cm last time I checked. : ) Could be more but good food is expensive. I'm using jute, 20 mm. Not strechable. I did a short test and it fits well and feels strong around my neck. I'm confident it will hold. Jute may not slide as easy but I will apply grease to it. It should be fine.
edit: I think polyester stretches a bit but it shouldn't be a problem. 12 mm though .. it might be too thin, it might cut but you could dress it in a sock or a towel.
