• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I hate where I'm from. People can be nice, but still.

I also hate that I'm getting older here... I don't see myself with a bright future here.

What is happening in my country is horrifying and I wish I could fight for change but I sadly can't. Im sorry your country is so hard.

I don't know to what extent it plays a role, but personally, I dislike my country because of the people; I sense a certain hostility and fear toward others. Sometimes people can act like wild animals in a jungle, leaving one with the fear of being harmed or of a loved one getting hurt.

If I were from a more peaceful country, I can't imagine if I would really feel the same way (CTB), but personally, coming from where I do makes me feel sad—sad for the suffering people have endured, for my own pain, and for mistreated animals; for I must say that in countries where people lack civility, animals tend to be viewed as mere objects rather than living beings.

PS. I'm from Mexico.

Sort of. I've never liked living in Australia. It's a country that values people who are extroverted, outgoing and highly sociable - and I'm neither of those. A lot of people here are loud and clique-y too. It's a pretty hellish place to be for a mute, cripplingly autistic loner who can barely maintain eye contact or speak to anyone. Then again there isn't really anywhere in the world that is well-suited to someone like me anyways.

It's also hot as fuck here in summer, which I hate.

I fully agree with everything that has been said. Even if i live in Italy which is literally the same thing of Australia in your terms.

no, but because of my country, its making me wanna ctb earlier than planned.
i can't think of a single good thing my country has done, not a single one. my country is awful to the point where i don't want to call it "my country": the people, the culture, the government and other is just awful. the country i live in is one of the reasons i want to ctb, but not the main reason.
i'm unsure, but maybe if i was born in a different european country, i'd have different views. but who knows

The election's next year and pretty much the whole country has steered more and more towards far-right ideologies and politicians, for some godforsaken reason
Not that I'd be in immediate danger when the fascists rule the country, won't be a fun time though...so yeah, it's one of the many reasons

We're all formed and developed by our environment. Being from an awful country has heavily added to my suicidal ideation. It's not a sole contributing factor, but a factor, nonetheless.

Not really, mainly because I'm certain I can get out of here soon. But if that isn't true it will probably make me wanna die more.

I'm sorry you're feeling that way, i can relate, i hope you'll eventually find a place where you feel comfortable, happy and truly belong.

personally i hate living in China because I feel there are certain structural constraints for me, and I feel like I'm not suited to this environment, so i feel like the country has pushed me toward suicidal thoughts.

My life went downhill when I was kidnapped by the youth welfare office at the age of 6, so yes, I would say so.

Perhaps if I had the chance to get out of my country, I might reconsider to not CTB. But as they always say, grass is greener on the other side.
