Anyone else keep struggling with methods and wish a new one would emerge?

Don't have access to a gun where I am. Very hesitant of SN because of the thought of having to survive with organ damage. Don't have access to any drugs that could do the job. Partial seems kind of complicated and I'm scared of developing "locked in" syndrome or memory problems from the attempt. I am very dead set against any public method so that includes jumping.

my two top choices are SN and partial but I do live at home so even if I do this at night when my partner and dad are asleep there's always a slight risk. I have a field nearby but again, risk of passersby.

how did you decide your method? Does anyone have any less common methods they are considering?

I wish a new method showed up! Maybe a new drug easy to get? Or just euthanasia for everybody and we all will be happy.

I couldn't handle failing and having to slowly deteriorate the next few weeks and not knowing the outcome/not being able to do anything to stop it. I def considered this method though

same here! Do you live alone? Thinking I'll pad my setup with pillows to minimize thrashing. Full would be near impossible to minimize all noise

Considering your circumstances SN is still your best bet. Just make sure you're not found for a few hours and with the correct dosage and regimen you will be successful. It's one of the more reliable methods in this forum. No method is bulletproof (with the exception of N) and most contain some risk for permant damage in the case of survival. There isn't really a way around that.

I'm in the same boat, minus access to SN. I'm trying to see if I can combine night-light and partial to... mixed results. It sucks I feel you fam

Well that one has risk of organ damage on top of brain damage and if I can be found with partial I can be found with SN as well. I'd pad my setup so if I were found it would be because someone randomly meandered down the basement at night (very uncharacteristic) which could easily happen with SN as well

you edited your comment after I had replied but ugh, very true. I know every single method really comes with risk if you survive, it's a super hard pill to swallow. I guess I just want to narrow down which methods carry least vs most risk ya know

Yeah sometimes I wished there was a more peaceful, legal method that I could use and readily access. Sadly, I don't, so I've settled with a relatively painless, reliable method, which is the firearm.

I mean out of all the methods SN actually has the least chance of brain damage because if you take the proper dose your odds of death are almost 100% assuming you are not found or saved. Even if you are if you are found before you stop breathing the odds of recovery once given the antidote is very very very high. There's no cases of brain damage in the albeit limited research articles that exist but any method you use will have the odds of brain damage so no matter what you will have that to fear. Your goal is to stop breathing/stop your heart and stop brain activity so you die, well if you succeed but are found with ANY method and saved... you get brain damage. There's no method out there that does not cause brain damage if you are saved after you have stopped breathing for a significant amount of time. That's just a fact. So I dunno if that helps or makes it worse for you but it's the reality.

EDIT: To clarify there are no cases of brain damage in research journals where a patient was NOT found not breathing and was saved. If they are found not breathing there will be some amount of brain damage depending how long they are down.

However it's more other organ damage (heart, liver, kidneys, etc) Im concerned about with SN, the thought of surviving and having organ damage like that makes me want to literally lose my entire mind permanently. You do raise a good point about the brain damage though. I'm also not really concerned about being left "a vegetable" because I wouldn't be conscious of it, I'm more concerned of surviving with consciousness AND complications you know

Yeh I can relate a lot to this. I wish there was something I could take where I just fall asleep peacefully and never wake up.

or a button to push and I just fall dead instantly peacefully would be nice

Ehh yes and no. With SN, it's very very very unlikely that if you take 25g or more that you will wake up. Theoretically, It could happen yes but that can happen once again with any method and some are vastly higher than others like an OD on OTC or even most prescriptions this is highly likely to happen but with a very very lethal method the odds are probably less than 5%. I wouldn't put too much thought into worrying needlessly about it if you have done all the research and follow the guide.

It's a really good method one of the bests when it comes to price/obtaining. But it still can go wrong just like other methods.
Stan has a good guide and there are lots of post about SN.
SN seems to be a good method for those that truly want to go.

You'll be moderately uncomfortable, restless, racing heart, headache, dizzy and then you'll pass out and start to die while unconscious. From what I've read.

i think when i suicide one day i will shoot myself in the side of the head with a handgun. to me it seems the easiest and most reliable method but very messy and my head will be messed bad so it would be a closed casket funeral( not that i have many friends or people who care anyway) .

SN is bulletproof if you take the right amount and aren't found......even if you are sick. Thats if things haven't changed since i was last around. Alot of research was done on it and threads made about it. the biggest factor was not being found.

where have you read about organ damage with SN? I haven't been on for a little while and nothing like that had ever been mentioned using that method, when i was last on.

SN is not riskless. If you take the right amount and aren't found, even if you are sick(pretty much guaranteed).you will CTB. there was alot of research and threads by members about it. when people 'survived' alot of the time was down to not taking enough ,possibly the wrong purity, and them being found by someone(IMO the biggest factor). Its not the perfect method, but make no mistakes its lethal. some members have actually seen others do it live

You will more than likely vomit too. For sure will have nausea. Most people vomit though even with meto or other anti nausea meds as the meto isn't used for the nausea properties but instead it is used to help your gastric emptying go faster thus killing you faster is the goal.
