I've never said it to anyone else but I really get this. It resonates with me a lot and in a strange way it brings me comfort. I'm sorry I don't how else to explain it - everyone else has done it very well so I'm not sure I have much to add!

oh, i know this word, i was looking for many something to describe my feelings a while back... and is just perfect.
I have a list actually, of words that get close to what i experience: sehnsucht, saudade, fernweh, anemoia and of course, hiraeth.
I don't know if there's more... but it's good to know im not the only one. I really feel i'm going crazy sometimes...

yes, and thats what my user is inspired by. Back when I was a kid and in therapy, I read a booklet on signs of suicidal thoughts in children and one of the signs was the child talking about home, saying they want to go home, etc. even if they're already at their physical house. That stuck with me ever since because it's true. What I want isn't to die, it's to go to that comforting place called "home".

I do. Nowhere feels safe and like a true home, not even my childhood home. I just want a place where I can feel safe at. I feel like I can only truly feel safe in death.

I know this thread is really old, but you guys managed to describe a ridiculously strong feeling I've been having my whole life, though couldn't really name it.
Every day feels like I was born in the wrong world, between false stars.
It's one of the main reasons life is so frustrating to me, but also one of the things that always made me hope.
Hope to find this place called "home" one day.
Something that will never happen and it's just so damn cruel.
This unfulfilled longing continues to devour me day after day, I can't take it anymore.
I dream of faraway worlds, of wide oceans and deep skies. I sense foreign forests and colors I've never seen.
I can feel that I belong somewhere else, but I don't know where that is or if this place even exists.
End this please.

Yes I have a strong yearning for a place called HOME. The only HOME I really had was at the ages of 16/17 when a complete stranger opened the doors of their home for me. In that home I found peace, love, support, protection, safety, and so much more. The other "HOMES" I have lived in have been complete HELL! I believe when I CTB I will find an everlasting HOME and will be at peace again. I feel as if I am going from one place to another and it's the same old. I cannot wait for this HELL to be over with!

There is no home for some people. They are all lost in a terrible ongoing accident. They cannot even be found or find anything themselves. The only way they can't be lost is to terminate this life.

I thought that my apartment was home, but now I'm alone and it doesn't feel like home anymore. So I'm hoping to go home after I ctb.
I've never really had a place or time where I felt truly safe and relaxed. I've always felt like I really don't belong here too. Whether there's another life aftewards, or just pure nothingness, it doesn't really matter to me. Both are preferable to my current situation of continuing to live here.
