40 sounds a bit too old for my liking but if I want to get all the stuff I want to do in this lifetime then I'll probably have to stick around until then. 60 sounds like a miserable time.

Nothing wrong with 60 if your mental health is okay. If you're feeling good you can do lots of outdoor or athletic activities, see friends, and maybe have an okay time at work. Of course you can be miserable at 60 too...
