Looking back, I wish I had waited for someone special. When I turned 18, I was already living on my own and decided it was time. I just wanted to get it over with.
I met a girl on tinder, and eventually we went out and ended up doing it on the first date. There wasn't much emotion involved or anything like that. Thinking back on it now, I didn't really feel anything beyond a moment of physical pleasure.
A few years later, when I was with someone who truly meant a lot to me, it was a completely different experience.
So these days, I only really feel the desire to be with someone I truly love.
