to me it sounds not bad and one wouldnt have to go sober. my plan was to get a backpack with weights and when ive had enough of drinks, i could just go chin deep into water, empty remaining alcohol and then when i passed out, the weights would pull me to the bottom. in my head this sounds quite nice, maybe i add some otc sedatives. any thoughts?

They published a paper on drownings in Ireland, and alcohol was involved in either nearly or all of them.

I do think about drowning. I'm currently surviving existence, but not enjoying it, but I do think about swimming into a river, probably on ketamine. My first method is a an OD though, it takes days to do, and I can't bring myself to do it.

I do think drowning is a nice method, nice in that it is nice to be in the water. The bit that is hard about it, the pain etc, that is the cost of the method. But at least it is a viable method.

I've considered this in combinations with benzos. I think the success chance would be high but passing would not be comfortable.

I've thought about alcohol poisoning in a bathtub. Then as i go unconscious, slide under the water.

Despite the fact that drowning in deep water is supposed to be excruciatingly painful, its still one of my preferred methods to CTB. I honestly can't really explain why, i'm just drawn to it even with the significant known negatives.

Your body's first line of defense is expelling the poison so you are far more likely to be swimming in your own puke than passing out.
