I just want to get outta here

Is it possible to get out of the place you're in right now, so you can think this through in peace and don't make a rash decision?

I keep thinking of those poor souls who perished after being trapped in a warehouse fire in Oakland, CA.

Some were found clutching one another, I hope it provided them some comfort in those last moments. I can only imagine the terror that runs through somebody's head when they realize they are going to be burned alive.

I've thought about it once. Not the way I want to ctb though. It was more of an impulsive thought. I would imagine pouring gasoline all over my body and would use a lighter to set myself a flame. Somewhere out of sight and at dark (but not too dark). Late enough so that people weren't really out but not too dark to see the fire in the night. But that was my impulsive thought process.. would much rather SN or partial suspension

I saw videos of this on Liveleak and it looked absolutely horrible. If there are others methods, I would use them. It's slow, incredibly painful and there is risk of harming or even killing others if the flames spread.

Not a great method. It is terrible. I once seen someone from Hong Kong be lit on fire from a protestor on Twitter. That guy ran while on fire looking for water I'd imagine.

Each to their own and what not, everyone has the right to do as they please with their own body.

That being said and done, I could never endorse or encourage such a brutal and unnecessarily painful death. I know you say you don't have access to any other methods and I'll have to take your word for that but I find it incredibly hard to believe you're in a situation where you can have access to items such as beech or items that you can set yourself on fire with.

I don't normally encourage or promote hanging or jumping as methods of going as I think with stuff like SN out there, it's an unnecessary risk when considering all options. That being said, I'd certainly advocate for those options over setting yourself on fire.

I mean, you do you, it's not my right to tell you any other way but my head just can't comprehend the level of despair someone must feel to be prepared to put themselves through that much pain in their final moments. Not a good way to go nor is it quick....

I think about it sometimes. I heard that it hurts at first but once your nerves are burnt, you feel nothing. But yeah, imagine waking up in a burn ward with 99% burns down to the bone. Yeah, nah. It's definitely an expressive way to go, but it will hurt ferociously.

Nope, and not sure why anyone would want to do this.

I'm desperate to CTB now
Either fire or drink bleach.
Don't do the bleach you will end up in the ER and very well alive! Too risky and known a handful of people in younger years tried this they thought "would clean out their system for taking a UA" would suggest something more reliable

Not a chance. The prospect of too much pain for too long coupled with the likelihood of surviving as a deformed human being.

Like with Grenfell they would've been unconscious by the smoke long before the flames reached them, hopefully.

In spite of all the horrible things that seem to happen in the world, I do still (naively perhaps) believe in some kind of underlying spiritual order that protects everyone from that fate, life sux but I can't bring myself to believe in the possibility of innocent people being burned alive

I've been burned enough times by single, millimeter-wide and hair-thin embers from cigarettes, to have thought about what it would be like to have that sensation around my entire body for several minutes.

Having felt the pain of being burned, I would never ever ever consider ever being anywhere near a situation where I might even *accidentally* set myself on fire.

Hands-down it must be the most agonizingly painful and horrible way to die, in the history of causes of death, of any organism.

Do not recommend, at all. If this is a troll post, gr8 b8 m8.
