Everything I've been through is unfair

I hate how I'm blamed for things that are out of my control

I hate how my disability is seen as a free punchline for unfunny losers to get free laughs, and how it's so normalized that no one holds them accountable

I hate how I have to work so much harder to get half the results of my peers and the only way I can become successful is if I push myself to the limit and im expected to get over it and just push forward

I saw act 1 of the wicked movie on Saturday and Elphaba made me feel so seen. Corny, I know, sorry. I love how it portrayed the unfairness of life, and how some people, no matter how kind they are, will never find happiness because of their looks or lack of charisma.

I understand what you mean. I don't exactly have a disability, but I have a chronic illness that causes me awful pain and discomfort every day, and no one else seems to take it seriously at all. It's so much harder for me to do the bare minimum that's expected of me now, and I can't wrap my head around why I keep on putting so much effort into life when I don't even want to be alive.
