• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

First thoughts on this as an anchor point? Obviously I will need to test (my date is several months away). But curious if a quick glance gives the community any sense of whether this is a good set up.

How can anyone assess your anchor point if nobody can see it? Photo?

That looks like it'll probably work but you should still test it out ahead of time.

Tie your rope to your anchor point, grab onto the loose end of the rope, hoist yourself into the air, and swing/shake around a little bit. If it feels like your anchor point is unstable (e.g. it bends or deforms, or it creaks in an overly concerning way) while you're swinging, then you shouldn't use that anchor point. But if everything feels sturdy while you're swinging, then congrats! You have an anchor point that works for you.
