Venting (Alcohol Recovery) shaking in front of other people during withdrawl

I just went to the gas station at 12 am to buy some crappy kratom extract to help calm me down because of how hard withdrawl has hit me in the past days. I was literally standing in line like a meth head wincing and shaking while there were a bunch of people in line behind me.

Probably the most embarrassing recent moment of my life like going all the way back to highschool shaking during giving presentations. I would be fine if everyone knew the context im more worried about people viewing me as weak as like a grown man who can't even go out in public without breaking down

Makes it very hard to stay sober and continue going through daily life when stuff like this happens and the emotional fallout

Yeah man it's literally one of the worst problems to have i left public highschool and went online after covid because of it. Really ruined me socially
