Hi there.

I have some semblance of a plan in mind but I'm aware this is very rough and likely not going to guarantee anything, so I wanted to get some advice. Currently I have access to a rifle and .22lr hollowpoint bullets.

My plan is simply to press the barrel into the hard pallet of my mouth and pull the trigger with my foot- probably in the bathtub with the door closed and a note left on the bedroom door. I tend to have extended hours alone in my apartment, so someone rushing in when they hear the shot hopefully wouldn't be an issue.

Is there any way I could safely ensure said method is fatal? I do not want to become permanently mentally disabled and cause the people around me more exhaustion and financial stress.

To be clear, I do not think I plan on ctb super soon, but I want to have a solid plan for when I do.

Getting a larger caliber gun first is a must.

Interested in this too. Seems difficult to get right even if it's one of the more effective methods. Worried about flinching at the last moment and fucking it up.

Is trying the soft palate possible?

Possible but I worry my gag reflex would make me flinch and fuck it up- could try and train myself out of having it, I suppose

This is simply not true. Soft palate and aiming to destroy the brainstem is much more lethal.
Actually it is, statistically aiming for the temporal region is more likely to result in death because there's no chance of any fragmentation or ricochet since the side of the head has essentially no bone obstruction. Unlike shooting through the mouth the bullet would have to pass through the maxilla. If using a pistol round then there's a chance of fragmentation or ricochet because the maxilla is a strong bone and pistol rounds have lower energy than rifle rounds or shotgun rounds. Also this obsession with the brain stem is ridiculous. Even if you don't hit it death is most likely going to be immediate just from the cerebral hemorrhage, hydrostatic shock, and the liquidation of the brain as a result of the hot gases that get propelled into the brain from a contact shot. Every study relating to shot placement shows that temporal is the most lethal. Yes if you aim for the brain stem through the mouth there's a good chance at death but the majority of people who survive either shot through the mouth and missed or shot up the chin. There is so much misinformation on here regarding firearms and frankly it's getting out of hand.

Is this still the case for the ammunition I mentioned above?
