people, I got a question: instead of metoclopramide I would like to use dimenhydrinate (stat dose 100mg 1 hour prior). I don't want metoclopramide because I reacted strongly to effexor which is a anti-depressant, but kind of similar to metoclopramide. Also I am afraid of Tardive dyskinesia (TD) and extrapyramidal reactions (in case I should abort the suicide attempt, or should I be allergic to metoclopramide). So I wanna go with dimenhydrinate which is cheap and over-the-counter. Any advice, any ideas, suggestions?

This video scares me a lot. I also read the video's reply and I understand that this thing happened to other persons. The SN method will be much more difficult in this way.

Dimenhydramate is just Dramamine anti-seasick pills. It's not considered nearly strong enough for n. What dusturbs me about the pre n metaclopramide instructions is they tell you to take six times the normal dosage of it.

I took 5,g meto for 2 days and didnt feel any different. Had slightly upset stomach but think that was due to other things buy i dont know for sure. Could affect others differently. Taking again now.

Correction: i just read in the Oct 2018 PPH (available to download here under Resources) that Dim./dramamine can be used if you can't get the stronger antiemetics.

Will probably go with domperidone. For most people metoclopramide should do the trick, but I am a bit squeamish.

Update on meto.. I took 25 mg was planning CTN Sunday but didn't have enough time so I held off and ended up in er with severe neck muscle spasms couldn't move neck it was like stuck backwards. So be careful guys. Its bad stuff. Not saying will happen to all because i was fine with the 5 mg but the 25 mg was too much. They gave me anti Inflammatory shot and valum and I am fine now.

I have sublingual Zofran which is another recommended antiemetic without some of those side effect. Of course it does have others.

What did you tell them at the hospital when they asked what happened? I'm afraid of metaclopramide now. The instructions I've accumulated range from taking 10mg of it 40 minutes before, to 40 and 60mg!!! I have 7 varying recommended instructions saved.

hi im sorry for what happened to u ): ..mm i was thinking to use zofran and levosulpiride together bc zofran is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist and levosulpiride is a selective antagonist of dopamine D2 receptor activity.. so using these two medicines together could be an idea as they cover the antiemetic function of meto and they dont have the bad effects u can experience with it... what do u all think? would it be effective to use those 2 together to prevent vomiting for the sn method?

These side effects are very dangerous and really scary. Maybe with a meto regime they can be eliminated, but I don't know for sure. The only thing I can say is that who has recommended a single high dose is a public danger.

What if I took 10g of Meto, then 8 hours later took 15g, then 20g in 8 hours and then 25g in 8 hours?

The idea is to slowly condition your body to the exposure of higher dosages of Metoclopramide.

If @Mfuardo succeeded and ctb he did not used antiemetics only acid reducers. So that should be possible, I'm scared too of these side effects.

shit this really has me worried now. Not only do we have to worry about keeping N down, but whether we will be ok taking the anti E. How common are these types of reactions? Would a single 10mg tab really give you that bad of a reaction?

How long after consuming 10mg would you know if you are allergic to it or not?

All this has me thinking about just ditching N and getting a gun.....fuck

i tested out 10mg last night, wasn't very pleasant but i also have some brain related issues already.

does anyone know where i can get domperidone quickly? i can't wait another 2 weeks. esp if i wait all that time and i respond badly to it too.

or is there an alternative otc antiacid regimine i can follow?

strongly considering just using my gun instead

Dimenhydrinate is over-the-counter, cheap. Stat dose is 100mg 30 min prior.
Don't quote me on it.

You can get about 5 boxes of it on ebay from china for less than 20$. Someone already posted a link on the sn megathread.

Seems legit, had positive reviews but I don't know. If it doesn't arrive by it's estimated time frame I'll contact the seller and hopefully get my money back:/
