Hello.
After i failed my partial hanging attemps i was thinking why not cutting the carotid or even jugular arteries instead of blocking them? I looked up the internet and it seems like a quick method.

So why not many people are considering this? because it hard to reach for some people or Because it is painful?
I'm interested to figure this out.

I doubt you can slit your throat the same way like a butcher slaughters animals. That's pretty fast. But again, I doubt you can do this to yourself.

Yeah slitting your own throat is pretty hard thing to do i guess. But there's no need for that cause it seems like that cutting only one side is enough. So i think in theory a V-shaped knife and a quick hit would cut a carotid and jugular.

People have done this successfully, notably the American scientist George R. Price:

He used a pair of nail scissors. It's brutal and messy and requires a degree of accuracy that is difficult without considerable knowledge of anatomy.
