I want to be honest upfront: I'm not sure I'll ever follow through with this. I don't know if I have it in me, but I want to be ready in case.
It's important to me that nobody finds my body. I want to disappear into the forest and feed the trees without having to worry about someone coming across my remains and sending them to a morgue or cemetery.
It would be nice to find a place along the coast since I love the ocean. I think I could realistically get to the northwestern US / southwestern Canada. My first choice would be the redwoods, but it doesn't seems like there's anyplace where my body could fully decay before someone found it. My understanding is that this could take several months, or even up to a year, and I don't know if there's anyplace left that doesn't see humans for such a long time.
If anyone is familiar with that region, I would appreciate your insights. Again, I apologize if this ends up being nothing. Maybe I'm asking too much... it's not like being unrealistic is out of the ordinary for me.
