I would like to last up to 5 years at my job, already experienced and knowing the people well. With stability, knowing that my death would not affect my family too much, I would start my plan. I would ask for advance notice at work, speak well with my colleagues, omitting the reason and saying that it was only for mental health. Towards the end of the month, I would buy several packages of chocolates. Every now and then we buy one to give to the office, our department, and everyone is happy. I would buy a package for each person, putting on a mini show and being able to thank them in some way. It would be a beautiful farewell, and close to my end and rest. No loose ends. Finally everything I had abandoned and tried to complete would have a resolution. It would be beautiful.

Not sure if you relate or not but being sad in the country of happiness, is incredibly isolating, makes us feel like outsiders.
