Today, I was sitting in my car eating food when the heavens open up above. I started to remorse about all the fun times I had as a child in the rain. Then, I remembered this is exactly how my first and last kiss to a girl I dated a few years back ended. I was put in the exact same situation, just without her.

I got emotional in the moment and shed a few silent tears. Remembered everything I liked about her and why she left me. I am fortunate enough to have had a girl friend for a little bit, but still, some wounds don't heal.
