It is because people are selfish and they only care about themselves, so they do not help others. The society just wants to force people to live, they do not care about the quality of peoples lives. Life is very unfair and depressing, it is a sad world we live in with so much suffering.

I have 3 mental health conditions diagnosed.

I'm offered as much meds as I can be prescribed. I take this help

I'm offered therapy . I have taken this help but found it extremely over whelming so had to stop. But if I wanted to proceed with it again, I could.

It's also beautiful and amazing. I had a baby made out of nothing but love, watched him ne norn and turn into a proper wee boy. Nothing makes me happier than knowing he is happy. But life mea s me and my partner are not together now, I dont get to see my son anywhere near enough, she is very amicable but itx not the same, we dont have a 30 minute dinner and 30 minute chat about rubbish. We do 10 minutes, then a quick walk before bath time and I have to go. Its painful, I saw him today, he cried because I had to leave. He is 21 months how do you explain anything like that. That's why I must CTB, I need him to forget his dada so he can be a well adjusted person when he is older and I'm but a memory. Plus she is so good, she wont let any harm or pain into his life honestly, like a ray of sunshine illuminating the exact thing you want to see. She was perfect and I nearly killed her by being a selfish dog. Imdomt deserve her, or my precious wee boy. I love them both, I was just to broken to give out enough love to keep them.

They want to cripple the NHS to the point where they profit off it's sale probably. It's basically impossible to see a GP in my area, i'm on anti depressants that they just stick me on with no consideration for me and whether I respond well to them or not, and if I don't take them they guilt trip me into saying i'm not doing what they say. I honestly think most GPs should not be allowed to give mental health advice sadly, and it's not their fault there is no funding but most of the time they are literally reading from WebMD.
I got told i'm eligible for CBT therapy and that I should get a call in a week it's been over a month with no email, call or letter to know that i'm even on the waiting list. The whole mental health treatment in the UK needs reforming from top to bottom.

NHS is crashing beneath us because of successive government cutbacks. serious shortfall in staff. Gps are good with the minor stuff but beyond that, they can only be referals. Weve had three young people die from bowel cancer like under 24. Gps told them they were too young!. Drs like that should be sacked and held accountable for their basic ignorance. NHS spends billions on law settlements due to misdiagnosis. Ambulance chasing lawyers is booming.!

I called a gp about depression and my suicidal thoughts and her exact words were 'what do you want us to do about it?'.
I seriously wish I was exaggerating. Absolutely ridiculous. Then she sent me a link to the suicide hotline, a teenager mental health forum and a website about depression.
And then when people actually kill themselves they act all sad and start talking about how they should reached out for help.

Lots of people would be helped if they had access to psychadelics instead of being forced to try the same class of drugs over and over again that has demonstrated no benefit. That is one change that could be implemented easily, yet there are political stakes to be had in demonising certain substances.

Healthcare systems are shit in every country, but things are particularly bad in the UK because wealthy people can pay private doctors for expensive Ketamine treatments, easy access to stimulants, and other 'controlled' substances while the NHS leaves people to rot due to their beuocratic bloatware guidelines that do not allow off label prescriptions and require referrals for anything past minor ailments, referalls that patients should have a say in submitting themselves rather than idiot GPs gatekeeping their wishes- to save money, of course.

Oh sorry my bad I must of read it wrong. Maybe call and tell them that and say you want a appointment booked before you leave the call. My gp receptionist books me in when I call. Most gp have ' on the day appointments' I have to call at 8am for that.

All I can say is if you want better healthcare in this country, vote against the conservatives, because they have slashed healthcare spending in the last 10 years to a level never seen before. UK spend less per person on healthcare than all other comparable western countries like France, Germany and Australia.

Hearing about stuff like this makes me so angry, what a bunch of hypocrites...When will people understand that hotlines and websites aren't the same thing as actual healthcare? I hear stuff like this from my British friends too, one of them is trying to get tested for ADHD but there is a 2 year waiting list, another one tried to get therapy through the NHS but had to wait 6 months for it and it ended up being 12 sessions of shitty CBT that didn't help at all. Just shows how much the government actually cares about mental health I guess...I sincerely hope things get better for you guys. Nobody deserves to have such awful and dismissive experiences when they're trying to get actual help.
