5.6g of propranolol + meto

I've crushed a mix of 80mg and 40mg propranolol pills totalling 5.6g. I know overdoses aren't advised but since my sn welfare check I don't really have any other options.

I'm aware I need to not be found for a few hours and dosages of death vary from 4-8g.

Has anyone taken prop? Would you advise against it? Or can you share your experience? Thanks.

I'm not really sure... but I'm prescribed it also. Couldn't imagine trying to ctb with it tho.. Doesn't seem Near enough reliable Imho.

Ordering from multiple pharmacies.

I crushed all the pills but didn't end up taking them as I didn't have time alone, it's been a month now so I presume the pills have gone off (I kept them in a plastic bottle in a dark cupboard) so I have to order them all over again and stockpile. Sigh.

Does anyone know the propranolol shelf life? I know if they're not opened it's years but as I've crushed them I doubt they are as potent?

I OD'd on 5g about 5 years ago, I woke up in ICU 3 days later. I was found, convulsing and had an oxygen sat of 60%, it took two ambulances and a rapid response car to stabilise me. I presume if you have a enough time alone you will eventually go into cardiac arrest.

Only reason I would try it again is because it was peaceful, one min awake next min you're in ICU with a bit of memory loss lol. I guess with all OD's, time, place and dosage needs to be right.

Generally, if properly stored in a tightly sealed container at room temperature, crushed propranolol may remain effective for about one to two weeks. if you're past that time, you'll need more.

8 grams is likely a lethal dose, as about a fifth of that has ended human life, looking at some reports.

Damn I thought so. Does this mean the tablets have lost all potency or will they just be less effective? I have another 3grams on the way - was hoping to crush and add that to the pre-crushed 8g I have. Ffs I wish I didn't rush and crush them at the end of May. Thanks for any advice.

Thats the funny thing - it's kind of a crapshoot, and I have no idea if they've lost all potency or just some. There's too many factors like the formulation of the tablet (immediate release vs. sustained release), storage conditions, and exposure to air and moisture... generally speaking, immediate release would be less affected by crushing, but I don't think I'd trust it in your shoes.

Yes, they were all immediate release mix of 40mg and 80mg tablets. I literally crushed them all, put them in a plastic screw top bottle then left them in a dark cupboard. Then I couldn't get time alone and all the second guessing/SI/risk of failure thoughts ended into a whole month passing.

The 3g is arriving on Friday. My plan is to crush them on Sunday then add it to the 8g. Monday, fast, take the stat dose of meto and few diazepam and mix the prop with water and get in my car and find somewhere to drink and sleep. Sounds all good in my head lol.
