Wow, wales proved me wrong in thinking that the swiss had this. Switzerland should have pushed even more after their goal instead of pulling back to defend. Saw a lot of good chances from them at the end though.

I don't see neither being able to take on italy with how they stomped turkey.

england vs croatia is next. I think either one can win. but I'm hoping for england since the captain from my prem team plays there. I'm going with england to win. might be wishful thinking that southgate won't bottle this with his lineup but fuck it.

edit: oh shoot,forgot that finland vs denmark is today. can't watch but i'm betting on denmark to win....not just because eriksen was once upon a time my fav player. But because denmark is a pretty solid team in general. Not the best but definitely a team I can see go far.

there's a picture floating around of eriksen still conscious on the stretcher holding his head.I think he'll be okay. That must be why there was no ambulance on the pitch.

Well this is good news! Will keep everyone updated if I learn exactly what happened. My guess is a heart attack. Which I don't know how since eriksen is so young.

it was a mutual agreement by the players of both teams. I feel they should wait but if this is what everyone wants then who am I to judge. Maybe eriksen got a say as well given that he's conscious and talking now and can reach them by phone.
