Hypothermia, I've experienced myself, it's calming after shivering phase is passed, and drowning is my second option while I'm intoxicated

i've always thought hypothermia would be ideal for me. i love the nature, and believe it would feel somewhat pleasant after a time of shivering. a little alcohol and i might even fall asleep

Yews are relatively painless as death can occur rapidly even before symptoms occur. Though, you'll have to do it right.

The thing you'll have to note about yews is that it's going to take a lot to work as a suicide method. By that I mean, articles tend to exaggerate the toxicity; it does not take 30 seeds to kill. You require hundreds (6 seeds per kilogram... or at 0.5 grams per kilogram for leaves) and that's to hit the low end of lethality. And there are compounds that can impede the taxine.

Definitely a nasty taste. I tried only 100 mg dissolved in water and the taste was potent. 10 g must be vile but aside from that my preferred method.

Difficult to tell since that therapeutic dose is much smaller than the toxic dose. It is advisable to take an anti-emetic in case. Apparently that makes it unlikely.

Have you looked into the exit bag method? That sounds much more peaceful than partial suspension and you should be able to get your hands on Nitrogen easily enough in the UK.
