I really don't know... While I am christian, I do have my doubts. I certainly don't believe in an idealized image of things, but then again, given that suicide is a considered to be a major sin, it may not be heaven after all. Anyhow, I acknowledge the possibility of an afterlife but I am completely unsure as to what that may be. I tend to not depend upon it, non-sentience and absolute nothingness is much more likely than an afterlife, let alone what some say it may be like. Either way, I guess I won't know until after I've caught the bus.

I think that it's incomprehensible. It's complete and total nothingness. Non existence. And we cannot possibly imagine what this will be like. Beyond darkness, beyond void.

As a Christian we are raised to believe there's a heaven and a hell. Honestly, I don't want to go on, even if it's a heaven. I hope when I close my eyes, it's forever. I'm over it.

After your brain dies you die because u r only Ur brain
A human is just cells. There are rooms fulls of books on evolution , molecular cell biology , brain science, and others that show what life is what a human is.
There is not one piece of evidence for any afterlife, reincarnation , ghosts , god, devil, soul, computer simulation , multiverses , magic nothing supernatural
They have been working on finding out what life is what life is what a human is for hundreds of years.
To me it's a horrifying abomination what I am cells a brain that can suffer unending constant unbearable pain
Imo That brain is really 86 billion brain cells but it horrifically creates the illusion I am one viewer with so many needs so much suffering immersed in a nightmare I never asked to be brought into

The idea that we're made of math is also not wrong but unscientific. You can believe it if you want. There's no evidence for or against it.
mathematics is emotionless

To me that anything has value or import is only programmed into the brain by evolution and culture society, other humans. Nothing really matters.
To me the only things that matter are avoiding suffering and pain and getting to my suicide asap
Nobody not even an ai has been able to prove to me that life or anything in life is objectively important good or valuable. I don't have to do anything and nobody can prove Why I have to want to live or do anything. Because it's all meaningless subjective garbage all of it

i personally don't believe in an afterlife, but i really fucking wish i did. it sounds so much more convenient to be able to believe that there is a guaranteed place i'll be happy, and a guaranteed person who will know just how much i've suffered and how strong ive had to be. man do i wish i could believe in that.

I don't believe in that rather I believe death to simply be non-existence where one cannot experience anything at all which is all I wish for, I only hope to never exist again, I'd personally never wish for existence rather I see it as a burden that just brings suffering, for me non-existence truly is the only peace. All I wish for is to fall into an eternal, dreamless sleep and never suffer ever again, to me existence truly does just feel like a mistake, I see nothing desirable about being conscious, non-existence truly is all I hope for and could ever do as long as I exist.

The afterlife is a commercial product. Every culture has its afterlife and those who run the business always want goods and services. People pay their witches well.

Likely either reincarnation or nothing was, those are my beliefs. As for my thoughts, both scenarios are pointless but no more or less pointless than our petty existences.
I don't believe in a disembodied afterlife in "heaven" or "hell". I think that is a misinterpretation of the Bible. What is the real afterlife is a PHYSICAL resurrection on a physical restored globe and universe after judgment day. But until judgment day everyone just goes to the grave back to dust.
My opinion is that there is no afterlife and that there's only permanent non existence after death. This is the only theory that actually has some amount of evidence attributed to it, every other theory is just human imagination to try and counteract the fear that many people have of being permanently non existent or it's just them perpetuating what their brain tells them to perpetuate (such as NDEs and religions)

Near death experiences are just dmt because the god people see in these experiences are dependent on what they belive in for example people india report seeing indian looking god while in america they report seeing jesus

Although I am born and raised in a Christian(traditionally) European country, I personally relate more to Buddhism. That being said, I don't have any firm belief in what happens in afterlife. I understand the pure science, simulations, cells etc.
I have no doubt it all checks out in a lab that nothing at all happens, but when it comes to death, I'll be open enough to say that I simply don't know what to believe. I highly doubt the idea about heaven/hell, as much as I love the thought of seeing my dog again(given we'd even end up in the same place).
Finally taking my last breath, and getting some peace, will be more than enough for me.
I have no idea. I was forced since a young age in many different types of religion in Brazil thanks to my mother.
In the end, I became basically an atheist with extra steps.
I simple never think about this unless someone bring this up. On difficult or good moments, I face with myself thanking actual people who helped me or blaming myself for my mistakes
Not once I think about a higher power to blame or ask for something, even on my eventually suicide or my despair when I am crying so hard in silence I can't speak.
It never comes to me, so I fear nothing in this type of stuff, and I have been like this for years.

Dont believe in all of that human made crap no offense. Since I'm not religious or spiritual I just believe we die and thats it. New life springs from us in the form of feeding fauna and being decomposed to also support flora, and I think that is beautiful and meaningful enough on its own

Same, and it does make people want to go back. It seems like most NDEs give people an increased appreciation of life but some get the urge to back and become more depressed. If it is indeed better there it is a relief that you can just "go there" if you want to.
