If SN is your method and you've been researching. You probablly read conflicting reports. From fairly peacfull to painful. What is your personal opinion now on SN?

Other than the obvious result no one has mentioned "debilitating" which I feel is up there on the pain scale. Also if the attempt fails it's possible to make a full recovery. The same can't be said for other methods. It's the failure part that scares me about CTB.

I think it depends on the person and the regimen used. I don't think it's perfectly peaceful, there will be some discomfort. You will not just fall asleep in a few minutes like with N.
If you are not sure about your decision, you will have more time to think about it since it takes 15 or 20 minutes to go unconscious. So, be really sure! But you should be really sure anytime you are ctb imo.

Vomit risk is high and the 15minute wait time is turning me off the SN method and toward inert gas. Both very effective I am sure if done right, just details and personal preference.

Yes i agree it is crazy how some make this a personal issue.. but may i ask why wouldn't you do it with SN? And what are aome other good methods if N is off-Table

I have been here for quite a while. N was my originally desired method as it is for most people, and rightfully so. People should alwayd try to decrese the pain and discomfort in all of this. Life has already been painful and cruel for most of us, the last thing we need would be for our final moments also be passed with suffering.
Now, after a month or two in here i came to the conclusion that could never get my hands on N. There were reports and they were confirmed by the news, that police conducted raids in the houses of people who had bought N, mostly in Canada and Europe .
So i started investigating SN. It seems to me that it's the better alternative to N, unless you are an expert of sufocation methods and have a fitting physiology (neck thickness and carotid placement) to go with hanging or you got a gun.
CO is also a method i keep considering but having to gather so many materials and go out in the open with a tent all by myself it's a complicated business. So SN it is!

There are several reasons, but I'll just mention one: SN has an industrial and chemical feel to it, and I think it would be anxiety-inducing for me. A most subjective reason which I think is reasonable.

I'm not really comfortable sharing such information anymore. Information about a variety of methods can be found online, though, given that one is prepared to invest some time.

Nobody is going to invent anything newly, I am afraid. And about legalizing euthanasia or assisted suicide. I am not optimistic about.

I think SN is perfect for me. I'm used to panic attacks. Tachycardia wouldn't be nothing new to me. Vomiting yes does suck, but I can have a backup just in case. SN taste nasty, but oh well. I can try to numb my taste buds with ice cubes, and mouthwash. I'm going to blast some music to cover out the sound of vomiting, and my death rattle. I'm using AE as well, so the worst that can happen is a seizure, and if I'm more unlucky I'll bite my tongue during the seizure.

Where have you read reports of a seizure while conscious? I saw another member mention this without any written accounts to point to...

Someone mentioned 15m is too long, it's actually too short, lol. If SN had taken an hour to work we'd have enough time to do a benzo knockout before. This would have been perfect. You wouldn't need any meto either. Just "1 pill" with SN and Benzo.

I see the conflicting reports but it doesn't turn me off of it. I have a high pain threshold and nausea I live with daily. I know I can drink that without an issue because I've done a salt water cleanse (sorry I know tmi) so the drink won't bother me. When I compare that 15 min until I pass out to 30 plus years of mental anguish, it's a small price to pay. But that is just me. Everyone is different

Of course you can ask. A combo of severe anxiety, depression and stress. The funny thing is the anti nausea meds (which is an alternative to the ones for the sn regime) make me so sleepy and stoned I can't even take them.

Damn. Nausea all the time...that must be brutal. It's quite odd what you experience with the anti nausea meds!

I think if N was available, not one person would bother with SN. Unfortunately, N is not available.

Hmm, my original method was going to be a good amount of poison hemlock seeds, but I swapped over to SN, after being told how unavailable N is, but people are also saying SN is hard to obtain, however I found it quite easily, and on Amazon at that which also leads me to ask why is it not banned in the US? And if it is and I'm just dumb what is this that I am contemplating buying?

I think it is HIGHLY recommend that you do not show manufactures names etc etc in posts. May i suggest deleting that pic from the post. I would think if the manufacturers name was blacked out, the picture might be acceptable.
