I use DuckDuckGo never heard of Yandex before
if Im feeling nature needs some love I use the search engine that plants trees for every search or their profit goes to planting trees idk

Weird but Microsoft Bing lol. I use edge cause my potato laptop is a potato and edge uses the least resources per tab. It's the built in search engine here, it's good enough for searches so... *shrug*

I like Yandex for the same reason!! I use Bing on my PC simply because its downloaded there already and I'm too lazy to download/search for another search engine...It's not overly censored like google but also not too explicit lol. I do use Google on my phone and occasionally on my pc too, when I search for pictures. I find that Yandex and Bing dont really do well with picture searching

Firefox. Simply out of habit, been a user of decades. I know my way around to find things the engine hides when I need to so I'm not planning on moving anyway, haha.
I also have Tor on my computer when I want to visit .onion websites but that is really it.

I used to use Yandex image search a lot a while back, since Google's image search was just being completely useless at the time, but it seems it's gotten better since then and, for whatever reason, on some days Yandex seems to block me.
Personally, all search engines really feel like just picking your poison. Do you want the Western corps (and, let's be real, governments) to spy on you on Google, or do you want the Ruskie government to spy on you on Yandex?

This'll sound really autistic, but I use google as my main browser, Bing to read pdfs, and Brave and Tor for reading National Socialist/Fascist stuff. I know it provides little security, but still. Also for bypassing the blocks on sites like Kiwifarms the British gov has enforced for some fucking reason.
