i like a hot curry, but it depends on the type of curry and the day.

i like most korean, mexican and indian curry on the hotter side.
thai is pretty varied though. i like enough heat to cut through the sweetness

but red mexican mole (curry) is made with a dark chocolate to thicken it, and too spicy of a mole will hide too much of the rich flavour for my liking

Cheesecake is too heavy for me but I am the same with chocolate cake.

Do you live outside the US? In the US they usually just bring you water.

I do live outside the US! Where I'm from you have to ask for tap water, otherwise they'll just give you the alcohol and soft drinks menu for you to choose from (they even propose water bottles in those menu). But I never got negative reactions from asking for tap water so I guess it's ok for them
