"Its just a clickbait thumbnail." But I think a mental health "professional" should be, well, professional. Saying that a mentally ill character with a personality disorder is too stressful for you to handle—at the very least—doesn't help the stereotype that a lot of therapists give up on those with PD's...and it personally doesn't make me comfortable as someone with BPD either.

And they wonder why people are starting to not trust them...

Oh its okay :) I'm autistic af so sometimes I can't understand tone lol

Maybe "handle" is the wrong word to use considering she is a fictional character, but I think its just insensitive and a little weird for a psychologist to admit that dealing with a mentally ill person is "stressful" xp I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it is weird.

I struggle with tone too:P I have ADHD, but I am starting to suspect autism too… not far fetched I think, since my late sister had it

it feels too demeaning when people talk about someone with personality disorder/mental illness this way, let alone a therapist!! I have BPD and it personally makes it feel like I'm a stressful problem rather than a person struggling..

Very true :') unfortunately, humans tend to take a few bad apples and generalize a whole group of people that way—doesnt help that most humans are just really ignorant and close minded to begin with and refuse to be understanding to those who are different from them.

Try explaining to a neutrotypical that when a Borderline splits on an fp, that doesnt mean we've just been "using" them the entire time :p

I find the game itself a bit odd really. What's the aim of it? I can't say I watched long enough.

I agree with you though. I imagine some of the people he 'treats' watch his YouTube channel. Again, I didn't watch enough of it to really tell but, if he starts mocking even fictional characters with similar traits- I imagine that could be really hurtful for his real life clients. As a psychologist, I would have thought he'd be able to work that out!

Surely, some of his clients will be struggling with social dynamics and how they are perceived by others. To open up to someone- surely you need to feel safe with them. Surely- the last thing a person going along to someone like this wants to think is that they find them too much/ annoying/ ridiculous. I don't know if he ever goes on to intimate that but, it was starting to look like he might.

I wonder what the creators of the game were even aiming for though. Is it a simulator to experience having relationships with people with possible personality disorders?

From my own interpretation of the game, NSO shows the consequences of someone who is as vulnerable as Ame-chan wanting to become a social media influencer just to seek validation from strangers online. Her relationship with P-chan, or the player, is just to highlight her decline throughout the days or weeks as she starts her internet career, but personally, I dont think the relationship is supposed to be the main part of the game.
