Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I worked for this company about 2 years ago for around 1 year and 7 months. It was my first job, and I joined through their graduate scheme. I worked as a systems engineer. The pay was good, and I enjoyed the work itself.

I started working there before Israel's genocide in Gaza, and I left in August 2024. Recently, I had two interviews with a different company (which is not involved in weapons manufacturing), but realistically, I don't think I'm going to get the job. My mental health has declined massively over the past two years, and I feel like I'm nowhere near the person I was when I first started working.

I've been considering reaching out to my old employer to see whether there might be an opportunity to return, but I'm very conflicted about it. The company does provide parts for fighter jets supplied to Israel, although I personally did not work in the air domain or on anything related to those products.

At the same time, I just don't have the energy to go through multiple rounds of interviews and keep putting myself through the same process. But I also know I can't just stay at home and do nothing indefinitely.

Has anyone been in a similar position? How did you motivate yourself to start working again when you felt like you had no energy or motivation left?
