Can't win if you don't play. I would give it to family and ensure a peaceful passing for myself

Absolutely yes. Money means nothing to me. It doesn't cure mental illness.
I'd donate absolutely everything to animal shelters and the Animal Liberation Front.

Yes.
I would need ungodly amounts of money if I were to attempt to fix myself but it's also no guarantee. Time consuming, risky, exhausting. And I've already lost so much time, been a victim of risk, and have no more energy.
If I had that amount of money, it would just end up in the hands of the people around me and I would just be left in the dust. More so than now.

Obviously I would rather have the money than not, but I would still ctb. My mom still buys us tickets when the jackpot gets high.
If I wasn't dealing with what I was, it would be very nice and I would love to share it with my family. But my problems cannot automatically be solved with money.
And VAST amounts of money sometimes leave people worse off than they started out.
From what I read about lottery winners, it can cause more problems than u ever imagined. I think if you can be smart about managing money and able to avoid being fucked out of it then it would at least solve your financial problems. You absolutely need to know how to invest the money and avoid people coming out of the woodwork to try to get you to part with it. Get gold, silver, crypto currency, land, probably move the fuck out of the US before the coming financial collapse.
Yea they say the first thing you should do when you win the lottery is get a good lawyer.

Also if there's any way possible you don't have to show your face or identity when you receive the winnings, that would be ideal.
The second people know who you are and what you've got, they'll be at your door until the day you die. Asking for the piece they think they're owed.
I'm not telling anyone to be greedy with it if you've got family and people very close to you who could use some help, but when you win the lottery you realize just how many people start to consider themselves a part of your life.

My mother wants to win and says she would just go openly accept it, I got very serious with her one night explaining why that's a terrible idea and how there are steps you should take to end up in the best position possible with all this wealth in your pocket.
Lmao as if we were actually going to win, it just made it worse when we inevitably lost.

Yes i would, as my suffering is physical/mental. I have enough money now and overworking myself to get it is one of the reasons i ended up in this state. If anything... I wish i had played the lottery instead.

This thread reminds me of the woman who killed herself because of debts, and after her death it turned out she was a lottery winner :|

I think I would far less want to ctb because then I could travel wherever I want, and get any woman I want.

It'd solve my money problems but I'd still be me and that's where the main problem lies. So I'd probably still want to die.

Anyone that thinks money can solve their issues should really try all avenues before suicide.

Money will only make me upset...why? Because I know I wont enjoy spending a penny of it. Its wasted on me.

But you could always spend it on others

Absolutely not. Most of my problems are second- or third-order emergents of poverty and solving all of them at one fell swoop would remove the need.

This is my answer. I timestamped it.

In all seriousness, my first initial reaction would probably be a big high. You'll start to think of all these scenarios in your head to finally have the chance to improve the quality of your life and those near you. However, it's already evident that a lot of rich people aren't happy because they lack other things that not even money can buy. True happiness is contentment.

Personally, I only have one reason as to why I haven't killed myself yet, and it's because deep down, I feel that I may have something unique with my music that I want to share with others. If I die, that all goes with me. I feel like some slave to it, and it's holding my life to a tether, even though I so badly want to cut off that string that's been keeping my life so far.

Some people asked to hear my music, but I've failed to provide it in my other post. So incase anyone asks, here's an example. It's written on a music software program called Guitar Pro. The sound is in MIDI file format that emulates the instruments, but you should still be able to decipher what it should generally sound like. The video only shows the written lead guitar parts, but in the background is also a rhythm guitar playing, and sometimes a third guitar, so that they're all playing in harmony.

No. Living in comfort without roommates and without a shit job, able to go where I want and do what I want all day would heal me up just fine.

I don't think I would.
Money would solve about 75% of my problems, it wouldn't even have to be a big sum and I think I could work out the other 25% in time if there weren't financial problems. I am good with money. I could study what I want and open a business with an allowance of 1100/a month of my lottery win. There wouldn't be any "beggars" either because everyone around me is swimming in money and opportunities. Maybe I should start buying lottery tickets...

For me no, I wouldn't.
It will solve all of my oroblems.
Because my problems are financial in nature.
Or more specifically that I have no financial future at 26.
I hate s
plus all jobs are nightmarish.
I don't see myself working in anything.
I would juest sleep all day, listen to music and go to the beach and movies and not study or work a second of my life.
If Andrew Yang became president and instated a UBI universal basic income of 1000 dollars a month would that be enough for you to stick around?

i like animal rights people... definitely ALF...

Animals are Some of the nicest 'people' ever.

If I win the lottery, it would delay me by probably 5 ish years. That way I could do some good things in the world, do my best to help more than ever, and
support others who are human rights leaders, animal rights leaders, and do everything possible before I leave to try to make a difference again.

Then i'm still leaving, but better protected and with a smoother, more peaceful journey to heaven.

Money wouldn't fix my problem but it would probably make me move my ctb date away further so I can try to enjoy spending the money.
I agree.
