Jail wouldn't be too bad-work, a regular schedule, access to healthcare, food on your table. The only problem is the other inmates. That would scare the shit out of me.
So I am following the laws in my country and also I would never hurt an innocent person

I'd be quite OK with books and a small view and the very occasional mindless chatter

This can sound strange, but yes. I feel myself like a miserable creature, destructive and usually I treat bad others. Nobody really liked me and everybody pushed me away. I feel I shouldn't be here, I feel I deserve being in a dark, small and isolated place and rot there.

Ever play this game? 30 points to pick how you'd live in a basement for 10 years for money. I wouldn't pick the girl, i'd take drugs and the internet. Slowly rot away and when I got out i'd continue to do the same. I just want to be forgotten in some hole.
