If there were no legal consequences, would you like someone to coax you to get past, lets SI?

I'd like that, even if it was nearly impossible to find someone you can trust. It would be like choosing to have a death therapist to talk you through the steps.
Bruh yes I wish, but these people are hard to find, no matter how suicidal you are, most still wouldn't encourage each other to actually do it or help with it yk.. even me deep down despite being "pro choice" I still wish for suicidal people to find happiness and try everything before completely giving up..

it's kind of morbid and grotesque (in my opinion) to want to be encouraged to commit suicide. i don't mean to sound judgemental, but i think that it's kind of morally bankrupt to do, even if you think that someone committing suicide would make their suffering end. a lot of people on sasu actually seem hesitant to ctb when i read posts about it or listen to them talk about it, but it could be human nature. i've been told to encourage someone or to "motivate" them to buy ctb supplies, and that's led me to not wanting to continue making friends on sasu. i just don't want to feel like i'm pushing someone to die when they should have the courage to do it on their own. it doesn't feel fair to want a person to encourage you when implies that the person being coached is hesitant to kill themselves. it's hard to find partners on the partner's thread for this exact reason. i'll never tell anyone they should kill themselves, because even if i do tell them to do it, it's not like me saying it will actually help them go through with it at all. even with access to a gun, rope, sn, fent, people will still hesitate. si is too demonized on sasu, when it's a person's individual choice to kill themselves.

I wish I had someone to comfort me, to stay with me and hold me as I go. I know some people do double suicides, but I could never trust someone like that, it's just a fantasy. There are many things about my CTB that I would like to do differently, but have to compromise on to minimise risks of failure.

You know what? That really depends. Like, what sort of encouraging are we talking about here? If they just type "kys" followed by "you useless piece of shit" then no.

I don't need that.

Yeah I agree and for me I think having people validate the possible choice of suicide and then helping me go through with it via counseling and procedures to make it as peaceful as possible (including emotionally) just seems like what a more compassionate society should be capable of doing.

I'd be hella suspicious if they validate my suicidal thoughts ngl. Like, what is your motive???

I wouldn't mind anyone encouraging me as long as:

- He never faces any legal consequences whatsoever
- He doesn't get punished by God or facing karmic consequences for it.

If these 2 conditions are met, I would welcome encouragement.

Just a random person encouraging me could seem suspicious.

Some system of checks and balances so that people aren't just getting off on killing me would need to be in place and the motive would be compassion. It might be shitty like where medical doctors pretend to care but are actually just there for a sense of status and easy money but I'd still take that if things were sufficiently set up to make it seem believable that society is approving and helping me with it for noble reasons.

Nope. It would certainly push me in the direction of committing, for better or for worse, but it would also cause me emotional distress. Just the knowledge that "this prson would rather see me dead than put up with my bullshit anymore" would make my final moments more miserable.
Even if done in good faith, like trying to help me make the decision I needed to, the feeling that would stick with me is that the person wants me gone.

i enjoy the idea of it in the same way id appreciate someone irl thatd reciprocate the urges and thoughts i have. I think because of the fact ive had the urge to encourage someone else who struggles with similar things to me to get them on the same level of severity as me id want something like that to happen to me too.
Im not particularly interested in anything like it anywhere but the real world since the comfort and encouragement from another human being can only go so far if you cant actually see, feel or smell them.
