During my first stint here, I met someone and we started chatting a bit. She ended up leaving SS to work on recovery, and we friended each other on Facebook. She hardly ever posts there (same here), and even though we haven't talked in a while I know I could write her tonight and she'd send a wonderful reply.

Otherwise, though, no. That was kind of a weird situation where it felt...safe. Hard to explain, honestly, considering how careful I usually am. I got lucky, I suppose.

I guess your first name is ok, but you'd be surprised how big a risk you take by revealing even innocuous details. Most people in the US can be uniquely identified by their postal code, gender, and date of birth.
