Discussion Would you do CTB if you were born in a totalitarian country like North Korea?

Well, I thought about asking this question after talking to someone.

If you had been born in a country like North Korea, would you fight to escape or would you do CTB without hesitation?

I think if you were born there then your mind would be already conditioned to think of it as normal. If you had a particularly difficult life even beyond just living there, then yeah, I could see some people CTbing. Jumping off buildings, wrist slitting, etc. They would have no access to weapons or drugs like most of our countries do to some degree.

The real question is why anyone over there in their right mind would even reproduce in the first place. Like why even introduce another person to the same shit life you have? I guess the only explanation would be that the females are being forced to reproduce. Which is funny, because life isn't much better for rest of the world, yet we choose to reproduce voluntarily. But to answer your question, yes...if I was forced to worship that fat digusting fuck Jong Un, I would instantly off myself. Pain wouldn't even be a consideration. I would find a way.

Previously, Americans could visit North Korea with a tour operator, a chaperone, and a visa secured in Beijing. When I lived in Beijing, I used Koryo Tours.

Because US passports are now banned, you must have a second passport if you are an American.

Yeah, I've seen people visit North Korea just to boast about it on social media. Of course, the money they're paying is not going to the impoverished people they're not allowed to see. Just the regime.

Supposedly, bullying is rampant in South Korea. In any case, I don't see the analogy since suicide is a choice, but being born in North Korea is not!

Both totalitarian and communist regimes have benefits. The majority of their criminal laws mandate the death penalty and prison colonies, which minimize crime.

It is time for America to stop being so soft on murderers and rapists and publicly hang them all. Then we should convert the prisons into affordable housing, vocational schools, and food pantries.

Only one participant has visited NK, so I can speak from experience. Like other countries, North Korea is composed of all social strata, including a wealthy elite.

After five around-the-world trips, I'm like Great Britain, who has conquered 90% of the world. In developing countries, tourism helps locals support their families. Maybe I'm Cuban! I favor tourism because it gives Cubans foreign currencies and respectable wages.

Just like NK and Cuba, in this sh*thole American third-world, we are also suffering! All US tourist visas should be revoked because "just another tourist experience to gawk at the po' ole suffering Americans" offends Judah, who lives on another continent. lol

If we assume that the avg people in North Korea don't know much about life outside their region where they actually live and life is "normal" for them then I don't know why more of them would consider suicide. Sure we know a different life and that's why it's "easy" for us to say "we'd CTB" but what if we don't know about "another life"?
