Would this method of CTB work?

I've been thinking of suicide lately. I had some bullshit ideas, like hanging myself with headphones and bashing my head in with a pool ball, but I think I have a sane method. My parents have an abandoned fire pit in the attic, and I know where they keep their matches. Here's the plan

1: Obtain the fire pit, matches, lots of water bottles, and duct tape in a hidden way
2: Empty my closet of everything
3: Bring the supplies into the closet
4: Completely seal the closet door with duct tape to prevent carbon monoxide from leaking out
5: Sprinkle water on everything except the fire pit to prevent a spark from starting a fire
6: Start a fire in a way that creates carbon monoxide(There's still wood in the fire pit)
7: Die from carbon monoxide poisoning

I know carbon monoxide isn't entirely painless so I was thinking I could also bring pills or something to manage that. Any thoughts or tips on this method, I'm new here so there might be some tips I don't know about
Additionally, what kind of pills would people recommend

That would be horrible. To produce CO you need charcoal that has burned down so thst there is no more flame or smoke.
To START a fire in a tiny enclosed space is madness. You will die from smoke inhalation, not CO gas.

Yeah, no. As you've already just learned, that wouldn't do what you think. Not even close. What I'm trying to figure out is why you never bothered to read the pinned threads on the main page, since that's where all the information about methods and non-methods is. Quick question, after looking at the megathread I had a thought to use my father's grill. Would this method work if I stole charcoal from my fathers grill and burnt that instead

1. I don't know the finer points of the CO method.
2. IMO if you want to CTB, you should move out first. Then, you can do it in your own home, with your own CTB materials.
