  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Prior to taking the sn I was thinking of chucking my phone in the toilet so I can't phone for help if the pain gets too much. However, is this likely to make me much more anxious during the process? I'm already likely to be very anxious anyway. What do you think? Is it a good idea? xXx

For me personally I would do anything to reduce the chance of the SI kicking in if I had SN. I would choose to get rid of it but of course this type of thing is a personal decision, only you know what is best.

The house has a front door that unlocks from the inside without a key which is annoying because I could have flushed the key too otherwise. I'm worried that if in pain I will leave the house and shout for help on the street but I am doing the sn upstairs so will I even be able to make it down the stairs to get help once the sn kicks in....I don't want to be able to make it down the stairs to stand outside and call for help.
Also, what time would be best? I was going to do it at 2 am but thought that might make playing music during it a problem so then I thought 12.30 am, but then if I do shout for help people would be more likely to hear me at 12.30am as they may still be up. The last thing I want is a noise complaint but if I don't play the music too loud would 2am be ok? Thanks xx

my personal problem with destroying things is "what if i fail". for me personally its a happy medium between cleaned up but still able to drop back into my life like nothing happened. why not just turn in off and put it in another room? SI can save you but in a panic it can only do so much, this alone might be enough and if you fail it doesnt require you to buy a new phone, adding more stress to your life.
