• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I would go and get myself a gun, but I don't know how to drive. If it does, I would choose another method. I seriously don't want him to get in trouble.

I don't believe it would, or at least it doesn't make sense to.

I'm not in the US though, so take my words with about a shaker of salt.

From my experience a lot of whether he would catch grief from authorities depends on your age. And whether he could be "reasonably" expected to know how your mental health is.

But besides all that would he blame himself if you ctb with one of his firearms?? I generally think that aside from just the common courtesy of not falling on someone when you are jumping, or making sure you don't accidentally shoot someone else when ctb (like if a bullet passes through you and into another person), or not killing yourself on a playground full of kids, we don't owe anyone any explanation or justification for why I am catching my bus.

I truly do not believe your grandfather would suffer any legal consequences but the risk of that also rises or falls depending on what state you are in, what state he is in. More liberal states/cities are much more likely to find a reason to prosecute firearms owners, even when their ownership is within the law and they are law-abiding citizens.

I doubt he would legally get in trouble. I think he will always blame himself for your death and that's a heavy burden to put on someone. I think suicide should not include others. I'd rather you buy a gun from a stranger.

Like someone else said, depending on your age, there might be some pushback from the authorities.

Besides legal repercussions, I wouldn't recommend using his gun. He will feel guilty for the rest of his life and it's best not to get others involved when CTB.
