Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Have you made a will?

I haven't, I'm a little worried about someone finding out. Especially if you need a witness.

I have written down who I want things to go to though and I'm hoping that's enough.

This highly depends on locals laws. You may want to check.

I had a will drawn up. It was very easy. I contacted a lawyer independently of anyone. I used the generic will they have available as I do not have anything big/special to give away. Signed it myself and the "witness" was another person working in the law office. No one else knows I had this done.

Also, just a note, you can declare financial beneficiaries separately from your will. So if you have money in a bank account, you will want to declare beneficiaries there.

As in contact the bank directly?
Ive looked at the local law it feels a little wishy-washy. Maybe I am better just making a will. My concern is i have quite a vile family member who i specifically want as far away from everyone as possible

For one of my banks I could declare a beneficiary online. The other I had to physically go in.

A legal will would help a lot with this. Make sure you declare an executor you trust (the person in charge of handing out stuff to people once you die).
