• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just attempted with a noose I made. I began to pass out and lose consciousness. I fell to the floor and just before the point of no return i ripped it off my neck. Would hanging it up work better as it would be much more difficult to prevent chickening out. I have tried in the past before and can't get past the will to live part. Any advice?

There is no good way to beat that will to live you speak of. Its a survival instinct just like someone would lose their mind and ravage for food after starving themselves for long enough.

Being in enough pain is what overrides SI.

No one escapes the pain of going through so much bodily trauma that your body tries to go on hi-drive unless you have that natural willpower to, and it isn't easy for just any normal person to have.

You have to be almost crazy and insane to make it happen, but there has been people who actually did it with a goal because they desperately knew they were tired and knew the risks involved.

I think it's about preparing yourself for the outcome when your the most prepared, but the chances of not making it the first time would mean dealing with the consequences and why almost everyone don't try again.

I'd say if you are confident with it working and you have the ability to also get it done with sheet willpower and mental resilience, you can do the impossible, but if you are confident with your plan and already living in a limbo of suffering that you only know enough about for your own, please by God's grace, don't let yourself fail with the consequences if you leave being guaranteed a peaceful ctb for your own sake

I will just think of the horrible things that led me here, the people i loved and trusted that hurt and abandoned me, remind myself it will not get better, my suffering will end in possibly as little as 15 minutes with sn, at most 30 mins , its nothing.

In terms of method, I think I would struggle with hanging. I chose SN. After a day like today I don't know why, but I guess I'm still holding onto a thread of hope in a future. Be kind to yourself, OP, I hope you find peace on this journey.
