Planning on ctb soonish by partial hanging, if i used a computer cord instead of a thick rope and tied it correctly e.t.c would that be sufficient to work. Just worried as it is fully 2.5 ish meters but it detaches into around 1.8 metres and the rest so i'm just worried if that happens during the ctb it would lead to failure. If the cord wouldn't work either way are there any easily accessible alternatives i could get for some sort of hanging method, I'm not able to save physical cash.
