I will try to help others then by reposting your earlier information even though it was thin on details.
It sounds like you found a partner on this forum a month before you went to Peru and met them in the UK for four days to plan the trip to Peru. After a 24 hour journey you landed in Miraflores, Lima. You could not find any agrovet shops on the first day. For the next three days you could not find the drug in Lima and planned to fly to Cusco. But then through the forum you obtained a source in Lima where you purchased it successfully (as Halatal) but decided not to take it but to instead bring it back home to the UK. You bought four bottles at $60 per bottle which you found to be very high. Each bottle contained 13 grams of pentobarbital, and you considered getting a fifth to be cautious.

Elsewhere you also suggested looking in smaller cities that are not common for tourists, such as Huacachina (where you met people who could get it from Ica or Pisco)
You recommended Miraflores in Lima as a safe district with police everywhere and that Uber is very cheap.
You advised against looking for the drug in Cusco -- it's full of tourists and police and because it is a tourist hub, the price is higher, and the risk for sellers is greater, making it a difficult place to find the drug.
You warned that you can be arrested at the airport if you are carrying the medication but believe that if you are not selling it commercially, the court usually gives a conditional sentence order that can be served outside of prison rather than giving an actual jail term. (Your mileage may vary).
You said that a major part of the experience involves bribery, that agrovet shops (agricultural vet shops) are the best places to look and that clerks can be bribed much more easily than vets, and some clerks may not even know that a prescription is required.
