It infuriates me.

Can't get any help, yet when I try to end my miserable life, they stop me.

In my books, that's nothing short of torture. Won't help me while I'm here, yet will not allow me to end the nightmare.

Fellow EUPD/BPD "convicts" (yes, I feel like I've been tried and judged) how do you feel about this?

Sending love.

It sucks. It doesn't help that not much can be done about BPD/EUPD, medication doesn't help much and DBT therapy isn't always helpful

They offer me one of this, yet I've been sectioned so many times.

Surely I should be a priority, in their "system."

I have grown to fucking hate mental health "nurses" (that's a joke) and psychiatrists.

They have done nothing for me, other than to cover their backs, following yet another overdose (via sectioning.)

It infuriates me that after so much trauma and abuse, we are the ones that have to deal with this emotional pain for the rest of our lives aswell.
Or at least until we somehow heal from it. On top of that you can hardly open up to anyone about BPD - if they look it up online, they will see so many people complain about it - call those with the illness abusive, manipulative and many other things, and then they will think badly of you and distance themselves because "you are so evil".

I've heard of therapists and psychiatrists refuse to accept those with BPD because they can be too much work and hard to deal with.
In Canada they started to allow Euthanasia for us, I just hope that Europe follows them too but it's unlikely.

You're perfectly right.

I believe they have actually reached a point where they now fear me.

They know what I am capable of, and in my twisted mind, I sometimes thrive off of that.

I truly believe I am turning into one of the Devil's Angels, but this was not my fault. I am a product of a corrupt company (not healthcare system/or a "service") but a company.

If you have X, Y or Z, just load them up with whatever drugs, and offer them therapy.

If you have EUPD/BPD ... "there's no point wasting resources on them."

And believe me, I speak from experience.

I think it has something to do with how the media (or, more specifically, the entertainment industry) portrays these disorders. Generally, characters with EUPD/BPD have overexaggerated, if not completely fabricated, symptoms to the extent that they become a caricature.

Movies portray these characters as people whose emotions change at the flip of a coin for small, trivial reasonings. They're "crazy". Oftentimes, they commit crimes in these "episodes", or they're manipulative towards other people for no good reason.

At some point, when this is the only perception society has of a person with BPD/EUPD, they unintentionally internalize these portrayals.

You're completely right, that's how mental health is treated most of the times.
Therapy and medication helps those that haven't been suffering for many years and the longer you've dealt with disorders and illnesses, the less effective their treatment is.

They know that 10-15% of people with EUPD/BPD kill themselves, we could be one of them so why would they waste any resources on us? We are already useless in society because of our disorder that makes most things impossible, they would much rather treat "less mentally ill" people so they can recover, go to work and make them money.

Honestly, I think we are all by ourselves. My treatment includes a great psychiatrist (who is an expert on bpd) and an excellent therapist (dot), it tool me a long time to find them and I create boundaries that they have respected till now, but the biggest part of my progress was made by myself, alone, since I was 12 yo, when I wasn't even on treatment yet; only writing, reading and reflecting on things.
Bpd is stigmatized, for sure; people are kind of afraid of us sometimes, but fuck them. I just don't care anymore.
I am crazy anyways, so…
But I get what you are saying. It can be frustrating.
