I think it would be a major step forward if they allowed legal assisted suicide, if you are allowed to vote you should be allowed the decision to CTB.

The link below shows the secrecy surrounding suicide I told my family I wanted to CTB, and if it was legal I could register and have a cooling off period for 12 months but as an adult, it's my decision at the end of the day I know they will try to talk me out of it or give me hope but I would tell them why and confirm it's happening in 12 months time so let's get some good memories before I go.

At least I can CTB and not leave them in shock with unanswered questions and no surprises like having a Policeman turn up on the doorstep saying please sit down I have some bad news.

I can leave this world knowing, no transport workers or anyone who stumbles across my dead body gets traumatised and no other resources are wasted, like Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance, and Hospital Staff.

Anyway thanks for reading and guess what I could go with a :smiling: on my face, :))

Cheers

Always found it funny how the government can allow, promote, even compel joining the armed forces to potentially take the lives of others or give up your own for their sake and at the same time make taking your own for your own sake as difficult as possible.

Has anyone thought about proposing assisted suicide to governments by telling them how much money they would pocket from it? I mean, where I'm at, every single person in power is money hungry and corrupt AF. SURELY, they will pass the bill on it so fast if they can cash in on other people's misery 😅

@Tiny Little Tree, Technically when a Country sends its people into a battle they know the results and can live with their conscience, I read on LinkedIn the thousands of 18-year-olds who died in Afghanistan and CTB when they returned.

@SunshineAndSuicide, Yes they would make a lot of cash, or they should pay us to leave early to stop using all the vital resources, :))

Wow, the Dutch have the right idea,

Anyway, link to HAPPY MENTAL HEALTH DAY.

It really would be ideal for society to allow the option of assisted suicide and for suicide to not be so stigmatised. I think that people deserve to exit peacefully and be able to tell others in advance without fear of them interfering with plans. Suicide shouldn't be so unnecessarily difficult and awful for people, it's just unfair how it has to be this way.
