GHB seems pretty reliable and easy to obtain unlike N. why is it not in the pph?

Gamma hydroxybutyrate, a date rape drug. Some people use it for fun. I doubt that it kills, I've never heard of an OD on it. Maybe Im clueless.
Saw a thread that says it acts like N of all things... Though honestly, that connotation sounds really bad

That thread has had people OD but it is not reliable from the disscussions and you are likely to throw up on it

It does seem similar to Nembutal in terms of how it kills you. Not the same class, but both depress the central nervous system. Im curious if this would be deadly if you combine it with alcohol and antiemetics to prevent vomiting.

I know nothing about this drug, but why would connotations matter to someone intentioned to take their life?

Don't know why I made that assertion to be honest, probably because I thought it wasn't made to kill and to do it's intended purpose of being a date-rape drug.

I was asked here how to source this drug. I'm not naive enough to help a rapist find their crap.

ghb is very deadly in not very high doses . the therapeutic range for recreational use is very narrow and if you go even a little bit above it you're unconscious and people die as a result of overdosing on it all the time. it's about as dangerous as a recreational drug gets. combined with alcohol the respiratory depression is rapid and you'll die pretty easily. people die accidentally using it all the time. it will kill you reliably. it takes like one Google search to figure this out.

"GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) is a central nervous system depressant with an exceptionally narrow margin between a standard dose and a fatal overdose. Even a very small increase in the amount consumed can result in a life-threatening overdose. [1, 2, 3]

Top Lethal Risks of GHB
  • Respiratory and CNS Depression: GHB rapidly slows brain activity, heart rate, and breathing. High doses frequently induce deep, unresponsive comas. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Vomiting and Choking: As users lose consciousness and gag reflexes, choking on vomit is one of the leading causes of GHB-related fatalities. [1, 2, 3]
  • Combining with Other Depressants: Mixing GHB with alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines exponentially multiplies the risk of fatal respiratory arrest"

GHB combo should work to be honest but if you survive it ....... its gonna be lots of pain for sure.

GHB alone you do need to drink a lot to meet the LD50.

there isnt enough research on it in combiniation with other things

Another Spanish user, Thanatox. Already reported.
I mean you're right to report because you're not supposed to help with any of that, but can I ask what made you think that the person is asking you to obtain it for that particular purpose? Im just curious because it might be a misunderstanding. If they asked you after seeing this post then wouldn't that mean they want it for suicide rather than what shitty people use it for? either ways good on you for reporting. Asking for a source is shady, I would never trust someone to do that. You may never know. They could be law enforcement or in this case weirdos.

Not even this forum has active threads asking for it. So if it walks like a rape drug, quacks like a rape drug, and overdosing isn't any different than whatever else can be mixed with alcohol...

I've never really thought of this, but are drugs originally made with a pre-intended goal or chemists just make whatever to see what it does?

I'd say GHB is only viable in OD methods, mixing it with other substances such as opiods and benzos. It can however be a very viable substitute for alcohol, especially considering you need MUCH less (and hence much less fluid = other drugs get more easily absorbed). The real risk here is nausea and overdoing it since it usually comes in undiluted forms.

But on its own, GHB seems too risky as a method, more likely that you'll get naseous, puke it out and wake up with a hangover.

I'm sure rapists are flocking here in droves to source GHB… and there's definitely threads discussing it…

@Thanatox people in this thread think you're a rapist

there are some through tho. from time to time people make new threads and just end up being a dead thread overtime.
GHB is interresseting but nothing really confirmed which make it harder to commit to it

i did found 1 article with this:
280 mg/L is sufficient to lead to death

i got 1 person in my DM that attempted GHB and i haven't see him back online

Why do you assume it's a rape drug? It is used for that purpose yes, but it's also has been used by killers successfuly.

Yes actually it makes you unconscious!
It's used recreationally more than for rape and killing combined. For that person to automatically assume everyone looking for GHB is a rapist, is ignorant AF.
