Death, whether involuntary or voluntary, is the most beautiful and natural thing in this world. Everything... I mean EVERYTHING... is heading towards death. Billions of years from now, the sun will die out, planet Earth will turn cold, and one day entire galaxies will collapse and disappear into an infinite nothingness. The entire story of our cosmos is that of a long journey from one nothingness to another. Even if anything new evolves after the final nothingness, that too will die out and disappear one day. What, then, is the value of humans like us in this grand scheme of things? Does it even matter if we exist or not? We are like microscopic organisms in this vast cosmos. A mosquito sits on my hand, and I kill it instantly with one slap. Now tell me: Will this mosquito's soul go to Mosquito Heaven instantly after getting killed? Or will it be reborn into another mosquito and start wriggling as a larva in some other person's backyard? Yes, our beliefs of Heaven, Hell and reincarnation are as stupid and pointless as this example shows. Our biggest problem is: We think ourselves as too important, hence we think it is immensely necessary for humans to survive on this planet instead of just dying out. Survival instinct is a disease, worse than cancer. The cure is a healthy, sensible approach to death.
