SN is the most popular thing on here despite taking hours and being quite hard to acquire in alot of countries due to customs and crackdowns, the night night method only takes a small amazon order so why is SN more popular? is Night Night inconsistent?

Well, I for one have tried it with a ratchet, and I wouldn't say it's painless... It feels like your head is going to explode...

There's a user here who says that it works better with a tourniquet instead of a ratchet, so I'm going to try that...

I don't know what I did wrong really... Maybe those pads were too thick... I'm actually circling back to this method after everything else failed, or was too complicated to pull off...
I guess what I'll need to do (very soon in fact, probably today since I'm corner in every aspect), is just experiment more with the placements and thickness of the pads, until it works. Because it has to...
It is unpleasant, but it's the price to pay to no longer be trapped in this nasty joke the normies call "life".
Also SI means "survival instinct"

yeah i know it means survival instict ;)
i asked if that was the reason for it failing.
may i ask what else you attempted that you say was too complicated?
and totally agree with how you feel about this dusgusting world

As you've heard already, it's tricky to get this to work, tricky not to painfully compress your trachea, and it seems that some people's individual anatomy just doesn't lend itself to the method. It can be uncomfortable and/or frightening for some to wait to lose consciousness.

Additionally, there was a user on here who claimed that they attempted this method, were found alive 12 hours later, and suffered significant brain damage.

So it seems to be unreliable.

Oh sorry... Just woke up, so I read "was it SI?" as "What is SI?"...

As for my preferred method, I had bought formic acid so that I could mix it with sulfuric acid to produce carbon monoxide. CO is by far the most peaceful way to go. But it turns out, you have to "rince", or "wash" the resulting gas with some other chemical so it is breathable... Because of course you do! Couldn't just be as simple as mixing the two acids, like I'd read, like, EVERYWHERE before that...

So yeah, since I have stopped all contacts with the outside world, including cleaning the apartment and taking care of bills, now I absolutely *have to* go back to the tourniquet, and make it work no matter what. And soon too!

What made me stop at that time, wasn't that it was very unpleasant, which it was... The real reason is I didn't feel like it was doing anything towards the intended goal... I felt all the rest, like the exploding head feeling, the difficulty breathing, etc... But zero progress towards even passing out...

But still, I don't have any other method available, soooo...

sorry to hear about the complications, and i'd love to go by BBQ smoke poisoning too, but im too afraid to accidentally hurt someone who might be close to the room or the building.
so i would have to do it in a tent, since i don't have a car.

yeah i heard you need to practice it a lot, to find the "sweet spot"

suicide definetely isn't "taking the easy way out" as many refer to it as...

I tried it, it just doesnt really work. I used a few different things instead of bean bags such as soft weight bags, tightly folded cloth, etc, but no matter how tight I got it, it wasn't enough to completely stop circulation.

Yeah, to me "finding the sweet spot" with something as impractical as a BBQ in an urban setting, just means it isn't a method worth considering... You can't just "experiment" until you get it right, so it is out as a method!

I'm amazed at the all the efforts the State and society in general invest in keeping us trapped!

The very same institutions that remind you daily that you are a low value person. I get it, and I accept it is true! But I shouldn't be stopped from doing something about it in a way that minimises harm!

I'm sure a small, affordable and efficient CO kit wouldn't be so hard to manufacture industrially... It would be a HIT!

But nooooo! You have to stay around, and experience all the horrors the natural world and human society ooze non-stop!

The "good thing" about no longer interacting with the outside world, including ignoring my "obligations", is that now I have to make it work no matter what! Harm reduction is my priority, but if it's not possible to do it the nice way, I'll have to try the rougher stuff then.

For CO, it's better to try to make the chemical method (I failed at) work...

Are there any confirmed deaths with the use of this method (not counting tourniquet variation)?
