Discussion Why does this site suddenly have so many guest visitors?

Hey. I wasn't here for a while and now I'm seeing an abnormal number of guests... If i remember it correctly, there weren't that many of them before. Does anyone know what is happening? Did the site get a new wave of attention due to some youtuber or something like that?

I mean in guessing , but I literally went on instagram for one message and I got logged out again. F knows why….maybe as on private browser. Nigh just be me that's often showing as a guest though. Annoying as hell for me constantly logging in even with keep me logged in ticked

There's a check box under you login info when you're entering your acc. if you want to stay logged in you have to press that. I don't know whether it works in a private browser tho

No, I think the same. It's continously too many recently. I don't think that a large amount are just logged out members.

You right, sometimes it's just 1000 the it'll explode to 4000 on some random day. Could be anything some law enforcement surveillance team from who knows whitch European country. The Americans appear to be silent but the Uk authorities appear to be aggressive since it looks like most of the ctbs are from there. Mostly like some cyber forensic team there disguises themselves searching through every thread to see if they find any more other hints/links like dmc. DMC was here for so long it and boom shut down after shut down March was a funny month

Maybe for some people this is like the big brother show, except instead of being voted out (or whatever they do, i have never watched it), one of us just makes a "goodbye cruel world" thread. And the parasocial people watch it like this was some cheap fictional tv entertainment and not real. Who will ctb today? Who will live? Who will come back? Who will leave?

Or everyone just wants to find a way to ctb today because of tariffs or whatever.

Maybe there was a recent article about us. Usually that sparks interest and we (ironically) get a lot more traffic.

While it's reasonable to assume that and it might be the case, personally, I doubt it's true cause it doesn't make sense to me to launch a ddos attack that have no real effect on the workings of the site. I think it would be bigger if that was the case

I see +- 2000 guest visitors every time I'm in, so to me it feels more like it's bots
