It's a genuine question and I'm curious. I notice a lot of talk about SN, N, fent, ODing on pills and other chemically-induced ways to CTB, but that there are a lot of people who have a really hard time getting their hands on those substances and can't do it as a result.
You can easily CTB if you just go for a walk in a woodland and look for toxic plants to pick and grind down into more refined forms. Where I live, they grow everywhere. For some of them, all it takes is mere milligrams to guarantee death. The pain and seizures that come from it can be negated with sedatives from psychedelics and certain flowers (opium), assuming you don't just fall unconscious before then.
It just seems like the easier and more lethal alternative to me; most commercial drugs are lab-tested to ensure their safety.

I think it's mainly a lack of knowledge. I don't have any knowledge on the subject either, and I don't know which plants might be good for CTB and which might not.

Learning about this topic can also be complicated, especially if you're suffering from advanced depression and find it hard to find motivation to do anything.

It's certainly an interesting topic, but the barrier to entry is a bit high.

And probably it's very different in different regions. Weit hanging you can find guides and regardless of were you are, you can follow them. With plants they are very different depending on where you are and may look similar to plants with different effects from somewhere else. So one has to do a lot of research on sources that aren't made for suicidal people, what makes it pretty difficult. If I had some sources for suicide, I would at least take a closer look into it.

It is not quite that simple. You have to have very good knowledge of what specific parts of the plants in your region have the toxin you are looking for. You also need to acknowledge that different plants have different amounts of toxin in them based on the time of your rainfall, plant genetics, current climate, etc.
Where I live, they grow everywhere.
This is not true for everyone. Many people do not have access to any toxic plants.
The pain and seizures that come from it can be negated with sedatives from psychedelics and certain flowers (opium),...
This is again assuming access.
It just seems like the easier and more lethal alternative to me; most commercial drugs are lab-tested to ensure their safety.
The general issue is that plant toxin deaths are unpredictable and potentially very unpleasant unless you have something strong to negate the pain. Most people want something more reliable and more peaceful than plant toxins and something that does not require them to get their hands on strong drugs that they probably do not have legal access to anyway.

Most of the people I know don't want to die from a plant poisoning because such death is often prolonged, painful and full of suffering.
We have tons of poisonous berries in my city and I haven't heard of any poisoning from them in decades. The last poisoning was from a child who ate them thinking that they were non-poisonous berries.

For me, I think that a lot of those more natural substances are not well tested and are more relevantly painful to use. Thinking of things like hemlock and the sort , yes, it would work, but it would be a horrible way to go, and that's not what I seek.
